HAPPY NEW MONTH

Another month is here again, and we are all very happy and joyous to be among those who see the new month. As a strong believer in the power of prayers, I invoke the prayers of blessings into the life of each and every reader of this blog. I tender each and every one of you before the throne of blessings of your creator, and I say may you never meet lack, or suffer want in this month in Jesus’ name. You may not believe in prayers, but I stand upon the word of faith in the God whom I serve to say that each and every one of you will never know lack, or suffer throughout the course of this month.
As you progress into OCTOBER, simply because it’s a month of Celebration and Freedom in Nigeria, may you be celebrated, liberated, and may you also celebrate with people this month in Jesus’ name, Amen. You may have felt that it’s going to be all over for you, either academically, physically, socially, and even in so many other areas I chose not to mention in this post, but I have good news for you; things are about to turn around for good for you from now on. As your eyes hovers over this post, up till this line, may you witness the divine turn around that the life of Senator Barack Obama of the U.S.A. witnessed, Dr. Goodluck Azikiwe Ebele Jonathan of Nigeria witnessed.
It’s a new month, and my earnest prayer for you would be that your life would begin to go up, up, up, and higher, higher, higher, until you can no longer bear and you request a pause. May you never be able to come down again from that topmost place you’ll be placed from this moment on in Jesus name, Amen.
Happy Independence to all my readers from Nigeria, and Happy New year to every reader around the world. Expect great things in the days ahead.

LOVE & CHANGE: How do they Relate ?

Change is the only element that is constant on the face of the earth. Many a time, lot of people have asked this question; "Can’t I change my lover in
our relationship?" or "I want to date that guy because I love him, and want to change him for good, is that bad?" To enter a relationship for love is one
thing, to enter the same for the cause of change another; but when both love and change are in the fray, that's an entirely different ball game already.
Love they say is unconditional, and I really don't doubt it.This means that love does not oppose any action or reaction from both the giver and
Recipient. It is given without any does and don’ts. When you claim to be in love with someone, and you still have it at the back of your mind to
correct a part of that person, either socially, behaviorally, or otherwise, then you have yourself conflicted on your course of action; or don’t know where
you are headed.
The term 'CHANGE' only comes to being in love, when the propagator takes the other party just as they are originally, not pulling or pushing on
flaws, but rather, letting go of the hurts received from the after-effects of these flaws, and later pointing these flaws, little by little, one by one in hushed,
subdued and soothing tones,so as not to aggravate issues.
These few tips should summarize my main points, including those not put down above.

* Love and change should not be moduled up into a single lesson; i.e they are not to be part of the priorites of entering a relationship.

* Learn to love, rather than change, and let the change come from you first.

* No single man is an island of perfection.Even the Messiahnic Jesus Christ was not perfect alone, except he brought both God the Father, and the Holy
Spirit into the fray.

* Perfection is not a one time arrival. You get there through gradual processing and lessons that must be learnt.

* When trying to correct someone to change, especially your partner or spouse, know that the softer you go, the deeper you'll be able to penetrate.

* Never expose the weaknesses of your partner directly or indirectly to others. It’s your personal discovery, and you should be able to work out a definite
solution.

* Learn to forebear with whatever setback you may encounter while trying to help your partner [No true success has not had its own fair share of failures].

* Learn from the mistakes of others.[It's the surest way to move faster to your preferred destination in record time.]

*Be the best you can be, not a Mr./Miss Perfect, but the best you are, and with time you'll see a very tremendous and enchanting change evolving in your
partner.

* You must cultivate the virtues of tolerance and patience.Without these, fights would break out between you at the slightest provocation.

* Whatever the time frame it takes, know that love conquers all doubts, flaws, fears, and everything else.[But that's when the LOVE is TRUE].

FEAR

I sometimes wonder why people are always scared of either doing the right things at the right times, or taking the right step at the appropriate time. I have come across a lot of people in this life who have gone on to become celebrities in life, and most of them attest to the fact that they used to be very bold and courageous before they became famous, but once fame and popularity set in, they suddenly lost their utmost sense of security. I tried to do a background check on the possible causes of this awful nuisance called FEAR.
Fear, an acronym for “False Evidence Appearing Real”, has been defined by a wide range of sources both online and offline.  Encarta Dictionaries defines it as:
Feeling of anxiety: an unpleasant feeling of anxiety or apprehension caused by the presence or anticipation of danger
Microsoft® Encarta® 2009. © 1993-2008 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
While fear encapsulates its victim in such a way that everything it brings their way seems to be authentic. Moving back to my celeb friends, I got to know that over 80% of present day celebs are either into drugs, or into heavy alcohol ingestion. It may seem awkward and unbelievable, but they give their paramount excuse as the fact that it instills in them the courage they need to go about their daily lives as celebrities. Even out of remaining 20%, another 5% are just into these life terminating commodities, but only minorly.
Given the flimsy excuses above by these widely celebrated personalities, I’ll simply site a real life example of an international celebrity who despite his world fame has deteriorated in health and well-being, simply because of drugs and alcohol. For those of you who have watched the wonderful child epic movie, HOME ALONE, remember that smart kid in the first and second parts of the movie? His name was Michael McCulkin. Very recently, he was charged to court for excessive use of alcohol, and heavy use of drugs like nicotine, marijuana, hemp, to mention but a few.
If you ever watched the film then, or even now, and you compare and contrast the very disgusting difference in him between his childhood and his youthful years at just 31 years of age, you’ll shake your heads in total disgust, and begin to wonder how he got himself into the whole mess. I did a little research on the internet about him, and found out that he was diagnosed to be suffering from depression; a major effect of FEAR.
My main point from this short story is: never let FEAR catch up with you, no matter your status or position in life. When next I’ll be talking about FEAR, I’ll be analyzing the other effects of fear, and how to generally overcome it.

SKY

Like a huge blanket laid on a king size bed,
The sky hangs massively over the earth.
No one knows where it starts,
Neither do we know to where it’s ends are.
So bright, yet gets dark at night,
So thick, yet lets automobiles pass through it.

No one has ever known how old the sky is,
But I dare say it’s just as old as the earth is.
But with its age, it looks so ever fresh,
And never lack its shine or its grace.
Whether in the sunshine or in the rain,
The beauty of the sky is still the same.

Ever heard of a truly pregnant cloud?
It always gives birth first to the rain.
But you never know that the rain is not all it bears,
Because after the rain comes another of its children,
The ever beautiful rainbow, showing off the true beauty of the sky.
So when you hear of the rainbow, and the rain,
Always remember that they are children of the sky.

Never would the world remain the same,
If the sky decides to go on a short leave.
The sun would dwell amongst us on earth,
And scotch us all to our very deaths.
The rains would also go with its mother sky,
And we would all wail with so many questions of WHY’s.

It is possible for the sky to be called pregnant,
And the next day, you hear it called cloudless, barren sky.
It could at the moment look golden, when the sun comes visiting,
And the next moment turn dark, when night gives it a call.
But no matter who is dwelling with the sky,
It does not ever lose its fascinating beauty for a second.

The rain speaks of the sky’s burden and heaviness,
The sun speaks of its bright side, and its industrious nature.
The night time darkness speaks of the sky in a deep sleep,
With the occasional visit of the stars and moon,
Showing the state and manner with which it sleeps.
The rainbow is the only favorite the sky has,
Telling us so much of the relief from burdens, of the sky.

Some Profits Of Owning A Personal Website

Some of the profits that can be achieved by launching a website include the following:

1. Far Cheaper and Much More Flexible Than Print Advertising The Internet is extremely different from print advertising in that space is cheap, your advertisement is accessible for a longer period of time, the content can be changed without having to ask someone to do it for you (if you use a content management system) and you can potentially reach a wider audience. This is not to say that you should not use other forms of advertising at all. You can use it to entice people to visit your website and find out about your company and potentially open two-way communication between the potential customer and a sales person.

 2. Market ExpansionThe Internet has allowed businesses to break through the geographical barriers and become accessible, virtually, from any country in the world by a potential customer that has Internet access.

 3. Diversify Revenue StreamsA website is not just a medium for representation of your company; it is a form of media from which everybody can acquire information. You can use this media to sell advertising space to other businesses.A recent trend has risen where businesses feature their very own directory of complimentary services, where the visitor can search for information on a business that will enhance the use of your service. The business sells complimentary businesses a listing in their directory. A good example is a catering company featuring a directory with businesses such as event co-coordinators, electronic equipment rental companies, etc.

 4. 24/7-365No more turning customers away when it’s time to close shop, putting up a note saying  closed for public holiday , or leaving an irritating message on your answering service specifying your trading hours tell them to visit your website for information they are looking for.

5. Offer ConvenienceIt is far more convenient for a person to research a product on the Internet than it is to get in a car, drive somewhere and look for or ask someone for information on a product. Also, a potential customer won’t have to judge a call center agent to determine whether he/she has their best interests in mind, or just wants to make a sale. The potential customer can visit your website whenever they like in their own privacy and comfort, without the stresses and distractions that exist in the real world. Your website is a self-service medium. For example, instead of having to wait in a long queue to pay your TV License; you can now do it electronically through the TV License website.

 6. Add Value and SatisfactionBy offering convenience, a point of reference and that touch of individualized customer service, you ultimately add value to your website, and your customers experience a higher level of satisfaction.Your website can add value in other ways too, by featuring tips, advice and general interest content you can entertain your customers. This will also help them remember you better.

 7. Standardize Sales PerformanceBy looking at which approached / pitches have worked in the past and those which have not, you can produce the ultimate pitch and use it with your website, so that you use it on every customer. No more training of sales people and waiting for them to get a feel for your line of trade.

8. Improve credibilityA website gives you the opportunity to tell potential customers what you are about and why you deserve their trust and confidence. In fact, many people use the internet for pre-purchase research so that they can determine for themselves whether a particular supplier or brand is worthy of their patronage, and won’t take them for a ride. The Internet also allows for Viral Marketing   where your website visitors spread positive word-of-mouth about your business - your customers do your marketing!

 9. Promote your Brick n Mortar PresenceGetting lost trying to find a place can be frustrating for a potential customer. You can publish what they call a dummy map on your website, which shows directions and landmarks graphically, and the potential customer can print it out when looking for your Brick n Mortar premises. You might advertise a promotion on your website encouraging the visitor to visit your  Brick  n  Mortar  premises (e.g..  At a branch near you! ). Also, if you recently moved to a new location, you will have to wait for the next 'phone directory to come out before people figure out where you currently are. Because a website is flexible   you can change the content as you like   you can change you contact details instantly and lower the risk of losing customers when moving to a new location.

 10. Growth OpportunityA website serves as a great place to refer potential investors to, to show them what your company is about, what it has achieved and what it can achieve in future.

11. Two-Way Communicative MarketingCustomers can quickly and easily give feedback on your product and/or marketing approach.

 12. Cheap Market ResearchYou can use features on your website such as visitor polls, online surveys and your website statistics to find out what your customers like more and how they feel about certain aspects of your business to determine how you can improve your product and the way you do business.Website statistics show you how much traffic your website receives, how the visitor got to your website and where, i.e. geographically, the visitor is from.

Love Me More

The difference between friends and enemies,
Is the love in-between the two of them,
The difference between friendship and relationships,
Is the level of love separating them.
The difference between you and Eve,
Is that you are the one I’ll love all the more.

Romeo never knew that loving Juliet could cost his life,
Yet, he sacrificed it when it mattered most.
Juliet never recovered from losing Romeo,
And was said to always speak so much of him,
Even when no one cared to listen to her.
Would you give your life, just to save mine?
Could there be another lover for me like you?
I doubt that with every bit of conviction in me.
You are meant for, just as I am meant for you.

Bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh;
The missing piece of my masculine rib cage;
The last piece of our romance’s jig-saw puzzle;
Let’s share the warmth of this hot love together;
As mating birds do on cold winter nights,
And lovers do to keep their love bonds ever strong.

Sugar is found in sugar cane,
Honey is gotten from bees and bee-hives;
Wool is gotten from cotton;
Leather is gotten from hides & skin.
Paper is gotten from pulp, and wood,
And true love is learnt from me to you.

Long time ago I have searched for this love,
But now I know I’ll search no more.
I’ve found someone, whom I call my love,
One who no matter what would love me more.
Even though I had longed for a Romeo-Juliet love,
I rest in your arms, even as you love me more.

DEPTH OF OUR LOVE

If I had woken up on the wrong side of my bed,
I would have made up my mind to stay away from you.
But alas! I am here, looking calm and good,
Just to make an impression on you.
Let this day live on in our hearts,
And it’s meaning stay in our minds.

Love was meant to be shown to others,
It was meant to be shared by lovers.
You are my lover,
And I am your slave in loving.
You hold me spell-bound in your love,
And your love web sticks so tight to my heart.

I have claimed, once upon a time, to be a master in love.
And I have proven my claim with others that none can compete.
But with you is an entirely different episode,
And with you, it seems to be a twist in a straight season.
From the moment I saw you, I fell headlong, in love with you.
Though it has taken me an unusually long time to voice it out,
I feel that today presents itself as a now or never date,
To express my love to you.

From Everest to Atlas,
From Himalayas to Kilimanjaro,
From the Atlantic to the Pacific,
From the Mediterranean to the Caribbean’s,
I have searched and looked,
Researched and reviewed,
If I could find a matching and equal love,
Like that which me and you share together.

Take me and accept my true love,
Let us fly together, to the haven of our love’s honeymoon.
Let people’s mouth wag and their eyes flicker.
Let men grow long tails like the African monkey,
And women have giant beards like the old Kalahari Lions.
Let us make our abode in the deep blue skies,
And enjoy the depth of our love.
